Welcome to the Wairarapa Library Service blog!

The librarians of the Wairarapa Library Service (based in Carterton, Featherston, Greytown and Martinborough) enjoy sharing information. Information about books, about the programmes in the library, and about the ups and downs of library life. We hope you'll enjoy sharing these things with us and comment on the posts (that's all we live for - well that & coffee)!

Three photographs and a cross-stiched bookmark

Are these yours?

(insert scan of photos, bookmark beautifully stitched with the name 'Lois')

Found in books left at Greytown today.

Margot really likes the look of the bookmark, so is considering changing her name to Lois so that she can legitimately use it. If it's your bookmark, you'd better get to Greytown Library quick and pick it up!

[We could also include details of some of the funny things we find in books too, so start keeping a list!]

Note - this topic was inspired by Rachel, who is making an artwork for the new library with all the things they've collected from between the pages.
