Even though I was once reluctant to read 'American' authors, I have been totally won over by the fiction of Anne Tyler. She captures everyday life and special events with a special touch, that warms the heart.
and more stuff from the contributing librarian's (or contributing borrower's) perspective of an author, book or genre they particularly like.
